The UBC Department of Physics and Astronomy offers a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with a Major in Physics.

  • The department also offers Honours, Combined Majors, Combined Honours, and a dual degree in Physics and Education. See the Dual Degree Program in Science and Education for more information
  • Students without Physics 11 or 12 are required to take UBC PHYS 100 (Langara PHYS 1118)
  • Students may select their electives so as to obtain a concentration in an area of their interest. See the Physics and Astronomy Specialization Guide for an outline of appropriate courses and other information
