Due to COVID-19, we have made the following changes:

  • The mail option is still available. All official transcript orders will be processed within five business days, excluding mailing.
  • Pick up and rush transcript orders are not available since Registrar & Enrolment Services Front Counter is currently closed.
  • Transcripts for undergraduate admissions at Douglas College, KPU, SFU, UBC (Vancouver and Okanagan), and UFV are still being sent electronically. Electronic transcripts are only sent to these institutions indicated by selecting the institution from the drop-down menu of pre-entered addresses.
    • If you are sending your transcript to another location or a specific department at one of these institutions, your transcript will be emailed.
  • If students need to submit their official transcripts by email, please send the institution’s email address to records@langara.ca before placing an official transcript order. This must be sent from your preferred or Langara email address and must include your name, Langara student number, and the institution’s name and email address. To ensure our records are accurate, students are required to enter the mailing address of the receiving institution when placing an official transcript order. Please note that we are unable to send official transcripts by email to students.
  • Canada Post is not accepting mail for certain destinations outside of Canada due to a temporary service disruption. If you need your official transcript mailed to a destination outside of Canada, please visit the Canada Post website before placing an order to ensure the service is available. Langara College is not responsible for delivery times or lost mail. Transcript requests are non-refundable. Changes cannot be made once your payment has been processed.

Registrar & Enrolment Services maintains a permanent record of students' courses, credits, grades, and notations. An official transcript is a copy of a student's permanent record bearing both the signature of the Registrar and the seal of Langara College. There is a fee for official transcripts.

Students can visit Langara's login page to access their academic record or to order an official transcript. Official transcript orders are also available in person through Registrar & Enrolment Services. Orders placed by mail must be accompanied by a cheque. We cannot accept credit card payments by mail, fax, or telephone. Students must meet all obligations relating to registration fees, library books/fines, and borrowed equipment before the College will release an official transcript.

Students should order a transcript well in advance of the time for which they need it; transcripts may take a week to process. Students who require additional forms from licensing boards, graduate schools, etc., to be completed by Registrar & Enrolment Services may receive their transcript within seven working days; however, depending on the complexity of the information requested, additional forms may take up to eight weeks to process. Supplemental forms must be submitted in person with your transcript order to ensure the transcript is mailed with the necessary forms. Prior to placing an online transcript order requiring supplemental documents, students must contact records@langara.ca for instructions and approval. Supplemental forms submitted by email without prior approval from the records department may not be considered.

Students who need an official transcript immediately after final examinations should order it before the last day of classes. If you are registered in the current semester and require final grades, please select the "Hold for Final Grades" option. Final grades and updated GPA/CGPA is available on the day indicated on the Important Dates webpage.
