Regular Studies

Our Regular Studies programs prepare you for career opportunities or to transfer to universities in Canada. Programs have either open or limited enrolment. Check the key information at the top of the program listing to see which type of enrolment your program has.

Open Enrolment

Interested in art history or English? Physics or philosophy? Kinesiology or psychology?

By choosing an open enrolment program, you can complete your first two years of university-level courses at Langara. Open enrolment programs are open to students who meet general admission requirements

Choose from a large variety of areas to explore subject areas that interest you. Basically, you can build the program that suits you.

Choose from a selection of elective courses or apply to an associate degree program and apply your academic credits to a bachelor's degree at Langara, or transfer them to a second- or third-year standing at a BC university.

Limited Enrolment

Looking for applied skills but still want to transfer to university?

Limited enrolment programs combine academics with industry relevant skills in areas such as business, bioinformatics, computer studies, engineering, nursing, web development, and criminology.

Most of these courses are university-transferable. Most of these programs are open to domestic and international students, but they have a limited number of seats and admission can be competitive. Many have additional admission requirements. See the Admissions tab in the program listing for details.

Be ready for a changing workplace and learn from instructors who teach while working in their industry. These programs are designed with input from industry-based advisory committees to meet employer expectations of new graduates.
