Transfer options.

There are several ways your studies at Langara may transfer to another institution. Your options depend on the courses or credentials you complete, as well as your intended university and program.

Course-to-course transfer

Course-to-course transfer means an individual Langara course is evaluated for transfer credit by another institution.

Use the BC Transfer Guide to check how your Langara courses transfer to participating institutions in BC.

Keep in mind that transfer credit may not automatically fulfill a specific requirement in your intended degree. Check your university's program requirements to understand how your transfer credits can apply.

Block transfer

Block transfer allows a group of courses or a completed credential—such as a certificate, diploma or associate degree—to be recognized as a block of transfer credit at another institution.

The amount and type of credit awarded depends on the specific agreement and receiving institution.

See the Block Transfer section of the BC Transfer Guide for current Langara agreements and pathways.

Transfer agreements

Langara has formal transfer agreements with several post-secondary institutions. These agreements can outline how a credential, a group of courses, or a specific program of study can transfer to a partner institution.

Explore Langara's transfer agreements to see whether a pathway is available for your program.

University-specific pathways

Some universities offer dedicated transfer tools or pathways for Langara students.
