Support Available on-campus

Please note that these services are available during regular business hours only (Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm). After hours and 24/7 supports can be found below under After Hours Support.

Counselling Support
  • Two Indigenous counsellors are available to provide confidential personal and educational counselling to Indigenous students. Indigenous students can book an appointment through Counselling Services by calling 604.323.5211 or emailing counselling [at] langara.ca (counselling[at]langara[dot]ca)  
    • Students may also request an appointment with a non-Indigenous counsellor through Counselling Services
Support for Survivors of Sexualized Violence
  • For Indigenous students who are survivors of sexualized violence, support is available. Staff in the Indigenous Gathering Place are all trained to receive disclosures confidentially and provide support in a trauma-informed way. To connect with a staff member to receive support and discuss your options, contact indigenous [at] langara.ca (indigenous[at]langara[dot]ca) or visit the Gathering Place (C140) during regular business hours.
  • Students may also connect directly with the Office of Student Support, Rights and Responsibilities Sexual Violence Support and Education Program by visiting T204-206 or emailing studentconduct [at] langara.ca (studentconduct[at]langara[dot]ca)
