Student Responsibilities

To Start

  • Apply to the College

  • Register with Accessibility Services

Students requesting academic accommodations must register with Accessibility Services and provide appropriate documentation, preferably at least three (3) months prior to the start of the semester. Follow the Steps to Register.

Each Semester

  • Submit Semester Request for Approved Academic Accommodations

Submit request via the Accommodate Student Portal each semester by the posted deadline.

  • Obtain Accommodation Letter

Sign receipt of Accommodation Letter and understanding of the Student Responsibility Form.

  • Provide Accommodation Letters to Instructors

Provide letters to instructors immediately and discuss your academic accommodation needs.

  • Submit Exam Booking Requests (for approved exam accommodations)

Submit requests via the Accommodate Student Portal by the posted deadlines.

Students are expected to follow the processes outlined in the Academic Accommodation for Students with Disabilities Procedures and instructions given by Accessibility Services staff.

Student Portal

Once you are registered, you will have access to the Accommodate Student portal, where you can

  • Request Semester Accommodations
  • Sign receipt of academic Accommodation letter and Student Responsibility Form
  • Print and email academic Accommodation letters for your instructors
  • Book applicable exams in Accessibility Services
  • Access accommodation guides and resources

 

 

Fall 2025 Deadlines

Semester Requests - Friday, September 12th, 4:00pm

Submit your request by the second Friday of the semester.

Midterm Exams and Quizzes - 7 days in advance

Submit your request at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled exam or quiz. Late requests may not be available. 

Final Exams - Wednesday, November 19th, 4:00pm

Submit your request as soon as possible once the Final Exam schedule is released and NO LATER than fourteen (14) days prior to the first day of the Final Exam period – please be aware that this will likely be more than two weeks prior to your scheduled exam. Late requests may not be available.
