Steps to apply

Step 1 - Check requirements

All applicants will need to meet the following criteria: 

1. General Admission Requirements, AND 

2. Program-specific Admission Requirements. Find program-specific requirements under the "Admissions" tab of the program listing

3. English Language Requirements 

Step 2 - Apply 

Online - Login to  EducationPlanner BC 

OR 

Mail or in-person  - This option is only available for domestic students. Note that mailed applications take longer to process.  

  1. Complete the Application for Admission (Domestic Students)
  2. Bring or mail the form with your application fee (View payment options for Domestic students) to: Admissions, Registrar & Enrolment Services. 
Fees 

Effective June 1, 2026, an application fee is required for each application submitted. Applications are limited to one per intake term for a single program with the option to indicate an Additional Program of Interest for no additional fee. Application fees are non-refundable.

  • Domestic Students: $40.00
  • International Students: $155.00

Step 3 - After you submit your application

You will receive an email, in 3-10 business days, with information on how you can check the status of your application. If you are applying for terms prior to Summer 2027, you can review your application via the Student Information System. If you are applying for the Summer 2027 term or later, you can manage your application through the Langara Admissions Portal.

You can submit your transcripts and supporting documents after you submit your application. Review the right documents to submit

Step 4 - Accept your offer

You will receive your Offer of Admission by email. To accept your offer, use the instructions in your Offer of Admission email. 

International student deposit
  • International students will need to pay a non-refundable deposit to accept your offer. 
  • This deposit will be applied towards your tuition. 
  • Once your offer is accepted and the deposit is paid we will send yout Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL). 
  • More information will be emailed to applicants who are admitted to a program.

Once you have accepted your offer, you will receive further instructions on how to register for your courses. Register now

General deadlines

Domestic students

  • Applications open 11 months (February 1, June 1, October 1)  before that start of each semester.
  • Applications stay open until the classes are full and/or the first day of class, unless there is a specific deadline for the program. 

International students 

  • For Spring Semester - September 30 
  • For Summer Semester - January 31 
  • For Fall semester - May 31
