Health Sciences Bachelor of Science (BSc), Faculty of Health Sciences, SFU
Simon Fraser University offers a Bachelor of Science degree with a Major in Health Sciences. Below are the lower division requirements.
- Students can also complete an Honors or a Minor in Health Sciences
- The Bachelor of Science program incorporates basic science courses (biology, chemistry, molecular biology and statistics) with HSCI courses about health and disease
- Building on a solid base of basic biomedical and applied health science, students will receive advanced training in pharmacology, toxicology, pathophysiology and epidemiology, as well as molecular biology and genetics
- Students enrolling in HSCI courses at SFU must have a grade of C- or better in prerequisite courses and in the program's required courses
- The Degree offers two concentrations. Students must choose either a concentration in Life Sciences or Population and Quantitative Health Sciences
