The Professional Development Program (PDP) is the teacher training program at SFU.

Langara Diagnostic Tests for pre-requisites

  • A four-year Bachelor's degree (120 credits) with one teachable major subject or two teachable minor subjects is required prior to entering the PDP program. Students must have a GPA of 2.5+ on their last 60 credits.
  • Secondary applicants must complete six English credits (a maximum of three credits of English composition may be included) one full term prior to starting the PDP.
  • Students interested in completing SFU’s PDP are advised to contact pdp_admissions@sfu.ca

Students should refer directly to SFU's Chart of Acceptable Courses (COAC) for an up-to-date Langara-to-SFU course transfer list.
