Brent started his post secondary education at Douglas College in the sports science diploma program. After the completion of the diploma program he transferred to Trinity Western University and graduated with a Bachelor of 

In 2009 Brent started teaching for Langara College's Kinesiology program. He currently teaches Introduction to Biodynamics, Active Health, and Advance Principles to Resistance Training. On top of his teaching duties, Brent always acts as the Program Coordinator for the Kinesiology department. Outside of Langara, Brent works with several athlete's to help them improve their strength and conditioning to improve their overall performance. Human Kinetics. After completing his degree he became a certified strength and conditioning specialist with the NSCA and NCCP certified coach. After running a successful strength and conditioning business, Brent decided to get his Masters in Exercise Science degree from Edith Cowan University in Perth Australia.
