From exploring program options to planning for university transfers to specifics like registration for courses, we can help you with a range of topics. Drop-ins are quick, 5-10 minute sessions designed for brief questions. Booked appointments are for longer conversations and are typically 20 minutes long. Academic advisors are available through in-person drop-in, virtual drop-in, and booked appointments to answer your questions. Please see the table below for our drop-in schedule. Drop-in advising is first-come/first-served (a Langara ID number is required). Note: Newly-admitted students are required to attend a Registration 101 workshop before individual advising.

Guidelines when using Academic Advising Service
- Queue Order: For drop-ins, you will be added to the queue in the order of arrival.
- Access Closure: Drop-in waiting rooms will close at 12:15pm and 3:45pm. Please join before this time to be seen.
- Name Display: When using virtual services, please enter your real name when joining to ensure recognition and have your Langara ID number ready.
- Respect and Etiquette: Please be respectful and practice basic etiquette during the session to ensure a smooth experience for everyone.
