As summer is coming to an end, it is also a good time to think about upgrading your career in the field of recreation. Below are 10 reasons why you should consider our programs:
- Langara College is the only institution which offers community-focus recreation programs in B.C and holds a strong reputation of graduating recreation professionals for the past 30+ years!
- The Recreation Leadership Diploma Program ladders to the Bachelor of Recreation Management Degree Program (total 4 years) and both can be completed here at Langara College.
- The Recreation Leadership Diploma Program can also be transferred to other institutions specializing in various aspects of recreation. See our transferability page for more details.
- Both programs provide hands-on experience through internship and/or Co-op opportunities, so students are well-prepared and connected to the field upon graduation.
- The Bachelor of Management Degree Program is fully online. Students can complete the program without stepping a foot into a classroom; this is especially feasible for those who are already working in the field.
