Welcome − Bienvenue!

We are thrilled to be returning to Canada September 6-9th 2017 in beautiful British Columbia for the 45th IAPS Annual Conference. The Olympic village of Whistler and specifically the Westin Whistler Hotel will make a wonderful conference setting. Many outdoor adventures and stimulating discussions await.


Keynotes include Jonathan Gottschall of Washington and Jefferson College, and the 2016-2017 Distinguished Scholar Cesar Torres.


Conference registration and attendance is open to anyone with an interest in philosophy of sport. Those wishing to present papers must submit abstracts to IAPS by April 21st for review through a competitive vetting process. Conference fees, including special student rates, are indicated on Registration form.
