Sarah McLaren completed her BSc at the University of Victoria and her PhD in motor control at the University of Western Ontario. Sarah was awarded funding from NSERC and won an Ontario Graduate Scholarship for her achievements during her graduate studies. Sarah's research in motor control has been recognized and is published. As a PhD candidate, Sarah also worked as a teaching assistant in the School of Kinesiology. Sarah was nominated by her students and won the prestigous UWO Teaching Award of Excellence.
Sarah's passion for human health and wellness began at an early ages as she was involved in numerous sports and activities. Her dedication to soccer allowed her to practice with the National Team, play for Team BC and win a spot on the University of Victoria Varsity Soccer team.
