  • Brent's academic interests during his B.Sc. included anatomy, exercise, and cardiovascular physiology
  • Brent's M.Sc. focused on using bioinformatics to explore the relationship between cellular metabolism and the heritability of atrial fibrillation
  • As an educator, his interests are varied, and include anatomy and physiology, exercise, biomechanics, statistics, and genomics

Teaching Experience

  • Brent had the opportunity to serve as a teaching assistant during his undergraduate degree at SFU. Through that experience he discovered an enthusiasm for teaching which has shaped his academic career.
