Hannah completed her undergraduate and Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Ohio State University. For her Masters she studied the relationship between liver injury and pressure. Following that, she completed her PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of British Columbia looking at how to measure displacement on the surface of vertebrae experimentally to validate computational models. She currently teaches biomechanics at Langara. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys biking, ultimate frisbee, board games, and backpacking.
