As some of you may be aware, one of our term 9 students, Jessie Radonich-Scanlan passed away suddenly on Monday at Vancouver General Hospital. On behalf of the College, we extend our condolences and support to her family in the coming days.
Jessie was an exceptional, strong, and dedicated student and our professional and student body are the poorer for her loss. Our instructors and her peers are devastated and she will be deeply missed.
Those of you who would like to participate are invited to share your grief and memories on Friday, October 18 in A136b from 1230-1430. This is a student-led gathering, and members of Jessie's family will be in attendance. Our Counseling department will also be there in the beginning to ensure anyone who needs support will feel welcome to access it through their services.
