On September 20th, the School of Nursing celebrated the reopening of our beautifully renovated Langara College Nursing Simulation Centre. Elaine Manacsa, Term 7 nursing student submitted the winning name and was available to officially cut the ribbon to open the centre.
We now have two simulations suites which can be used for either acute care or community health simulation. Nursing Simulation has the ability to assist nursing students to practice their nursing skills, decision making and critical thinking within a safe and supportive learning environment. The School of Nursing would like to thank everyone who turned out to help us celebrate this important occasion.
