Convocation Checklist

Use the checklist below as a guide to help you prepare for convocation.

1. Complete the Graduation Process

In order to receive a credential for their chosen program, all students must apply for graduation. See Graduation Process page for more information.

2. Receive Your Parchment

Parchments are issued three times a year following the parchment issue timeline noted on the Graduation Process page.

3. Book Your Convocation Tickets

The second round of ticketing closed on May 30, 2022. All graduates and guests must have a ticket in order to enter the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. If you have any questions please contact

4. Rent Your Regalia

Regalia booking closed on May 30, 2022. All graduates attending the Convocation Ceremonies are required to wear regalia. A limited amount of regalia will be available to rent at Queen Elizabeth Theatre with an additional $25 late fee.

5. Book Your Graduation Portrait

Graduation is a milestone! Capturing this important moment with a graduation portrait is a great way to remember your accomplishments. Lifetouch is offering studio sessions at their Burnaby location from May 30–June 17. Book your session today. If you have questions, please contact Lifetouch at 604.294.1005.

6. Let Your Friends and Family Know

Spread the news about your Convocation Ceremony taking place in June. Anyone can tune in and watch the ceremony virtually. Visit the Guest Information page for more information.  

7. Order Credential Frames and Other Keepsakes 

Commemorate your achievement with mementos and gifts.

8. Enter the Convocation Contest 

Tell us what you are most excited about and be entered to win one of two Convocation Prize Packs. Contest closes May 16, 2022 at 4:00 pm.
