How to apply
Prerequisites for this program: Any first-year philosophy course or the consent of both instructors. If you do not meet the prerequisite please contact the program instructors.
We have a maximum number of participants, so apply early!
Deposits are non-refundable unless your application is not accepted, or if the program is cancelled.
**NOTE: The instructors will require more information and selected applicants will be invited to an individual interview with the instructors before your application is accepted**

The statement of interest should address why you are interested in the program. It should be between 1 and 1.5 pages, double spaced.
If you have other education or experience, or if you are relatively new to Langara, you may choose to submit your unofficial high school transcripts and/or a CV in addition.
Once you have submitted your statement of interest and transcript(s), we will contact you regarding interview times.
Once your application is received, your non-refundable deposit will be processed. The remaining balance of the program fee must be paid by March 15, 2024. Tuition is paid separately (and in addition to the field studies program fee) in April on the regular deadline for summer semester.
Applicants who are not current Langara College students must complete a Langara College application form, submit their high school or college/university transcripts, and pay a $40.00 non-refundable application fee.
