Innovative Learning Experiences
We believe in experiential learning and implement it in courses throughout the programs. Students can engage in intellectual problem-solving, often with real world application, in a supportive environment.
In our classes, students might:
- Partner with the City of Vancouver to address and solve municipal problems.
- Collaborate online with students in Costa Rica.
- Recreate dishes from an ancient Roman cookbook.
- Investigate and connect with community-based health services in the Lower Mainland.
Lecture Series
All programs feature an interactive guest lecture series. Students meet and connect with people working in related careers and learn about community viewpoints.
