Dr. Joanne Horwood
Instructor, Langara College
Joanne has a BA Honours, an MA, and a PhD in English, specializing in Modern Drama. With over 20 years' experience, she now teaches English at Langara College, including courses in Modern Drama, Theatre History, Shakespeare and the History of Women in Theatre. Her online Bibliography of Women's Theatre History is an ongoing labour of love. A passionate theatre-goer, she has coordinated 4 previous Field Studies programs in New York and 1 in London.
Jill Goldberg, MA
Instructor, Langara College
Jill Goldberg holds a BA in Honours English from McGill University and an MA from the Graduate Centre for the Study of Drama at the University of Toronto. Though it’s been a while since she’s taken to the stage, she has experience acting, dancing, directing and working in costume shops. She also spent a summer living in New York and interning at The Field – an organization that provides support and programs for emerging artists. She has taught literature for 13 years, 4 of those at Langara, and she is delighted to be joining the New York Field Studies program for a second year.
