Langara College mourns alongside the community following the devastating events of the Lapu-Lapu Day Festival.
In collaboration with Anakbayan South-Van/Richmond and Migrante BC, we will offer a space for collective healing and remembrance at a vigil on Sunday, May 4 at 3:00 PM, in front of the A Building.
All students, employees, neighbours, and friends are welcome to join in solidarity.
The vigil will feature a community altar, expressions from Filipino voices, traditional healing practices, and a guided grief circle.
Together, we will honour those lost and find strength in community.
