Elevate Your Pitch Networking Workshop (On Campus)
Looking to improve your professional networking skills? Come to this interactive workshop to learn why networking is so important and practice your Pitch. There will be resources, fun activities to practice getting to know fellow students, and prizes for the best pitch. We will have a Pitch Contest where student can voluntarily participate.

This is an excellent workshop to prepare you for future Career Talks, Alumni Talks, and Tech Thursday events as well as how to present yourself at your next interview.
Drop-in One-to-One Resume Review (On Campus and Online)
Check the workshop page for a variety of online Resume Reviews. In-person Resume Review take place on select Tuesdays in the fall semester, students can drop by the Co-op and Career Development Centre to have their resumes reviewed by our Career Instructor. No registration is required – sessions are first come, first serve. We recommend arriving early. Interested students must bring a copy of their resume (printed or on their laptop).

Career Talks (Online and On Campus)
Career Talks is a series of career panels that will feature experts from a variety of industries. Each panel will focus on a different theme including hiring trends, science & tech, business, and more. Starting on September 18, 2023.
Alumni Talks (On Campus)
Alumni Talks is a panel series, hosted in collaboration with Alumni & Community Engagement, where Langara graduates will share their experiences, challenges, and career journeys. Starting on September 18, 2023.
Tech Thursday (Online and On Campus)
Tech Thursday is a series of monthly panels where industry experts will talk about a day in the life of their career, the position and skills required to do their work, and tips for students entering their company. Starting on September 28, 2023.

Co-op Program
The Co-op Program allows you to alternate study semesters with paid work terms and gain valuable work experience before you graduate from your academic program.
Disney Field School Program
The Disney Field School program blends academic coursework at the University of California, Riverside and at the Disney University with six months of supervised paid training at Walt Disney World.
Global Skills Opportunity Internship Program
The Global Skills Opportunity (GSO) Internship program offers domestic Regular Studies students a unique opportunity to gain valuable global work-integrated learning experience.
