Langara's Publishing Program visits Generation Printing
On January 13th, 2014, this year’s Publishing class visited Generation Printing to learn about the printing process. Rob Kouwenhoven and Brian MacPherson took the class through the entire process a client’s job follows including prepress, proofing, platemaking, and a detailed discussion of how a printing press works with a close-up look at a Heidelberg CD102 press. Environmental standards and bindery were also reviewed.
