Today, the Publishing Program’s Class of 2012 were hosted by Dan Castilloux and Crystal Wong of Mitchell Press. They discussed not only the process of web press printing, but also the history of the company and their environmental initiatives.
Dan showed the high quality printing they can produce with their heatset Komori press and talked about the meaning of G7 certification. The opportunity to see their operations in-person illustrates the concepts that are discussed in several of the Publishing courses.
