  • SFU's BEd program has three degress options: an Education Major, a Double Minor or an Extended Minor, or an Education Honours. Each program has specific requirements.

  • Students can apply for transfer to the BEd after completing a minimum of 60 units. Once admission has been granted, the student's program must be approved by the Faculty of Education. Major or minor requirements also must be approved by the department(s) in which these requirements are administered.

  • To complete the program students must complete 150 credits, and must also be admitted to and successfully complete one of the Faculty of Education Teacher Education programs: Professional Development Program (PDP) or Professional Linking Program (PLP).
