Simon Fraser University offers a Bachelor of Science (BSc) or a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a Major in Computing Science.

  • Admission is competitive. An admission average is established each term, depending on spaces available and subject to the approval of the Dean of Applied Sciences. Admission averages are calculated over a set of courses satisfying particular breadth constraints
  • Continuance in the program requires a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.4
  • Computing Science courses require a C- grade or better in each prerequisite course, with a minimum CGPA of 2.4 in 200-, 300-, and 400-level CMPT courses
