Course Description
Students gain practical knowledge and develop the skills needed to plan and implement an adapted early childhood education program that fosters the developmental growth and learning of children with diverse abilities. They apply theory and learn instructional strategies that help them meet the needs, interests, and abilities of these young children. Students work with certified early childhood educators to learn hands-on strategies to support and promote children's growth and exploration within inclusive child care settings. Graded S/U.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum "C-" grade in all of the following: ECED 2415, 2417, 2418, and PSYC 2318.
