Are you looking for volunteer opportunities? Would you like to BOOST your resume and HELP out a child? Become an In-School Mentor or Big Brother with Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver!

Big Brothers matches at-risk children in the community with mentors who serve as role models and teach by example the importance of giving and giving back, of staying in school and having respect for family, peers and community.

The Big Brothers Program is a friendship based mentoring program that matches adult male volunteers with boys aged 7-14 who have limited to no contact with a positive male role model in their life.  Big and Little Brothers spend 2-4 hours a week together doing a wide range of activities that they both enjoy.

The In-School Mentoring Program is a flexible mentoring program for both male and female volunteers that match adult volunteers with a child at a nearby elementary school.  Big and Little Buddies spend one hour a week together during school hours on school grounds doing fun activities such as playing sports and games, doing arts and crafts or just hanging out together.

Must be 18 years old.  No experience necessary.
