At Langara College, our Associate of Arts in Psychology program provides a strong foundation for understanding human behavior and preparing for future studies or careers.

You will learn from experienced and passionate instructors who bring psychology to life through engaging lectures, interactive discussions, and real-world examples. The Langara Psychology Lab contains resources and study spaces, and our Instructional Assistants and free peer tutors provide help in a supportive environment.

Hands-On Learning & Practical Skills

Our program emphasizes critical thinking, research skills, and practical applications. You’ll gain experience designing experiments, analyzing data, and applying psychological concepts in real-world scenarios. Some students are also given the opportunity to work with faculty on research projects. We also regularly award a scholarship, the Psychology 2320 Research Paper Scholarship (Allen Cup), and the Norm Carsley Memorial Bursary.
