Langara College has introduced a new brand and strategy for its Continuing Studies offerings: Stackable by Langara. This refreshed approach is focused on meeting working professionals where they’re at by offering flexible, skills-based learning that fits real lives and real careers.

The concept of Stackable comes from a simple, powerful idea: start with what you know, and build on it. Learners can take individual short courses or pursue a full program—stacking skills and credentials over time to meet their goals.

Courses in Stackable by Langara are designed to be modular, industry-responsive, and flexible. Many are offered in the evenings and on weekends, making them ideal for those who are already working or balancing other commitments.

“Continuing Studies has always been about helping people take the next step; whether that’s entering a new field, growing in a current role, or pursuing a long-held interest,” said Connie Chong, Dean of Continuing Studies. “With Stackable by Langara, we’re putting that purpose front and centre. It’s a name that reflects the real lives of learners and the evolving needs of employers.”

The new brand is part of Langara’s long-standing Continuing Studies division and reflects a modern, career-focused approach to lifelong learning.

President and CEO Dr. Paula Burns added: “This is more than just a brand. It’s a strategy rooted in meeting professionals where they’re at. Stackable by Langara reflects how many professionals want to learn today: flexibly, practically, and with a clear path forward.”

With Stackable by Langara, the College is making it easier than ever for people to upskill on their own terms.
