Apr 3, 2019
Due to the closure of T Building, a number of classes, exams, services, and events have been relocated. Please see updates below.
T Building Remediation Update
Remediation work is progressing very well. We expect that the T Building will partially re-open later this month, and that all classrooms and labs will be ready for the start of the summer term on May 6. There will be some noise disruption as work continues towards the full re-opening early in the summer. We want to thank Langara’s Facilities team and the remediation contractors they have brought in for their excellent work on this important project.
Classes and exam relocations
Classes have moved online, so contact your instructors for more information. Exams that were previously scheduled in T Building have been relocated. Please check your schedule for the latest details. If you require accommodations, please contact Accessibility Services.
Registrar and Enrolment Services (RES) relocations
RES Main Counter is now located at Continuing Studies in A Building (front counter near main entrance).
RES Main Office is now located in L109.

Support for students and employees
We care about the well-being of our community and appreciate that students and employees may require support due to the events on April 1, 2019.
We would like to remind you of the following support that is always available:
Langara Counselling - Open for individual counselling, and welcomes drop-in visits or appointment requests.
Langara Students Union - The LSU can help students navigate Empower Me, a resource with 24/7 support.
After-hours support - Extensive list of resources in the community.
Employee & Family Assistance of BC - Resources for employees.
If you did not get a chance to attend the Traumatic Event Support Sessions that were held on campus, here are the handouts (courtesy of Morneau Shepell):
We want to encourage you to make use of these supports for yourself and refer your classmates to them as needed.
