Langara College's Centre for Entertainment Arts presents two evenings with Jan Philip Cramer for an inside look into the creation of Thanos for Avengers: Infinity War & Endgame.
Part 2, August 13
Focuses on Avengers: Endgame to continue Thanos' journey by explaining the double snap damage, the development of holograms, and detailed shot break downs with a focus on facial animation.
Jan Philip Cramer is Digital Domain's Head of Animation as well as one of the industry’s leading Animation Directors. He has garnered an impressive list of credits and accolades as Animation Director in his 14-year career, including winning a VES award for his work on the digital character Thanos in “Avengers: Infinity War.”
Langara's new Centre for Entertainment Arts is designed to give students the tools and real-world experiences that today’s creative industries are demanding. Advanced programs in 3D Animation, Visual Effects, and Game Design prepare students for a growing number of careers in the entertainment arts industry. Offered through Langara Continuing Studies, our entertainment arts programs are designed to equip you with a comprehensive toolbox of marketable skills that lead to success in the vibrant and growing entertainment arts industry.
There is no cost to attend this event but tickets are limited and are required for admission. This event will be at the SFU Goldcorp Centre for the Arts at 149 West Hastings Street, Vancouver.
