Tuition

You will pay fees equivalent to the cost of 12 Langara credits, plus the Student Union Basic fee, the Student Union per Credit fee, and the Capital Building Legacy Fund fee. The exact fee amounts will be those set for the semester in which the student chooses to study at Soonchunhyang.

Tuition Supports

Accommodation Waiver, Weekly Stipend and Partial Reimbursement of Airfare

In order to help support international students in this program, Soonchunhyang very generously offers the following support to program participants:

  • full waiver of the cost of the dormitory
  • a weekly stipend (for 10 weeks) of approximately CAD $115*
  • a reimbursement of approximately CAD $750* for airfare (this is contingent on successful completion of the program)

* Amounts subject to exchange rate fluctuation

Student Loans

If you qualify for a loan it can be used for the exchange program. You may have to arrange for a power of attorney so that your loan can be processed while you are out of the country.

Other Expenses

Besides paying for your Langara tuition and associated fees, you will also have to pay other expenses including:

  • airfare and transportation to Soonchunhyang
  • books and supplies
  • food and daily living expenses
  • medical insurance

We estimate that you will have to budget approximately CAD $5000 for the semester.
