About
Photography is a universal communication tool that uses a complex visual language. Strong technical and creative skills are required to communicate effectively. Students build on foundational photographic knowledge to create purposeful images of people and objects. They apply advanced techniques in lighting, storytelling, connection to place and space, and post-production. Throughout the program, students learn to discuss and critique work thoughtfully, considering multiple viewpoints. Electives allow students to round out their education and explore complementary creative, business, and communication skills.
