We've designed our program to prepare students for working in the animation industry. Over the the four consecutive terms, students have access to learning, tools, resources, and student services that allow them to reach their full potential. Included in your program tuition and fees are access to industry-standard software, peer-tutoring, and our facilities, including computer labs, Cintiq labs, and our classical animation room. In their first term, students receive a variety of hardware, supplies, and a starter kit for drawing.

New Domestic Student Deposit*

New domestic students accepted into Sep 2026 will pay a tuition deposit of $8,007.00, of which $1,500 is non-refundable. This amount is used towards your tuition and fees. Refund & Deferral Policies apply.

Domestic students admitted for May 2027 and later intakes will not be required to pay a deposit during the admission process. Tuition and fees will be due upon course registration.

New International Student Deposit* 

New international students who have been offered admission are required to submit a non-refundable deposit. This amount is used towards your tuition and fees. The deposit must be paid before you will be issued a letter of acceptance.

International students accepted into Sep 2026$9,046.70
Domestic students accepted into May 2027 or a later intake$9,000.00

When you register, the tuition fee for each course will be deducted from your student account. If there is a balance due, that must be paid before the fee payment deadline or you will be dropped from all your courses.

Students whose study permit application is denied by Immigration Canada can receive a refund on the deposit once they submit their current refusal letter from Immigration Canada. Please see the Refund & Deferral Policies

International Education Development Fund*

All international students pay the International Education Development Fund fee of $35.70 each term.  

Textbook Fees

Textbook purchases are the responsibility of the student. For most courses in our programs, textbooks are required to be successful and to participate effectively in the classroom.

Langara Students' Union

Students admitted to this program are members of the Langara Students' Union and are required to pay LSU fees. Program students are  eligible for the UPASS transit pass, extended health/dental and other services provided by LSU.
