Vancouver, BC – There has been a confirmed case of Measles on the Langara College campus. Students and staff who may have been exposed have been contacted by Vancouver Coastal Health Communicable Disease Control. If you have not been contacted and believe you may have been exposed, please contact Vancouver Coastal Health Communicable Disease Control.

The specific venue where people may have been exposed to measles is limited to Friday, February 15th, 9:00 - 4:30 pm, in the Science and Technology Building at the College main campus.

We are working across our College departments and with Vancouver Coastal Health to ensure the well-being of our campus community.

Anyone who thinks they are experiencing symptoms should call a Public Health nurse at your local Community Health Center or call our communicable disease control team at 604.675.3900, or toll free at 1-855-675-3900.
