Vancouver, BC – Langara's Electronic Media Design, Digital Media, and Communication Arts programs are proud to sponsor "Creative Mornings Vancouver" this February, featuring design maverick Gagan Diesh.

Creative Mornings is a monthly breakfast lecture series for people interested in creative industries. The free event began in New York city but now counts chapters in Zurich, London, Berlin, Stockholm, Auckland, Milan, and Budapest among its ranks. Speakers who have appeared at the Vancouver section include Flickr co-founder Stewart Butterfield, communications and cultural strategist Amanda Gibbs, and Juno Award-winning musician Bif Naked. Each event is free of charge and includes a 20-minute presentation, plus coffee.

Armed with an innate curiosity and a love for creating engaging experiences and powerful brands, Gagan Diesh has taught and practiced design for over 17 years. He founded a studio called DesignStamp in 2001, shortly after the insanity of the dot-com bubble. His expertise lies in being an effective translator, helping customers, businesses and technologists find what each needs to thrive and co-exist in peace. When not geeking out about good or bad interaction design, Gagan can be found travelling the world searching for great food experiences.
