Event Information

Monday, Sep 26–Thursday, Sep 29
11:30 am–2:30 pm
A Building, Main Foyer

  • What is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation about?
  • What was the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC)?
  • What are the 94 calls to action that came from their work?
  • How does this impact you? And what can you do to take action towards truth and reconciliation?

Visitors to the engagement centre are invited to ask questions, engage with reconciliACTION cards, learn about ongoing efforts of some departments at the College towards Indigenization, and make a pledge of action for yourself. In exchange, participants can receive an orange shirt (while supplies last) which they can wear to show support for Indigenous communities, to recognize the tragic legacy of residential schools, and to commit to the ongoing process of reconciliation.
