Course Withdrawal Periods - Important Notice
September 30Last day (before 2100 hours) to withdraw from Sep–Oct half-semester courses.
October 28Last day (before 2100 hours) to withdraw from regular semester courses.
November 18Last day to withdraw from Oct–Dec half-semester courses. To withdraw from an Oct–Dec half-semester course, you must email registration@langara.ca prior to 2100 hours.
Important Dates
June 15Log into the Student Information System on or after June 15 to activate your registration date and time. Your registration time is  pre-assigned and is not impacted by when you activate your registration time.
June 19Fall Semester 2023 Registration Period 1 commences. Check the Registration Guide and Course Schedule for more information. 

Limited enrolment registration begins.
June 21International and Indigenous student registration begins. Students in career and limited enrolment programs may register into courses that may have been unavailable to them during their scheduled registration time.
June 26Arts and Science registration begins.
July 1College closed. Canada Day.
July 3College closed. Canada Day (Observed).
July 31Last day to apply for graduation in August.
August 1Last day (before 2100 hours) for international students to defer their admission without losing the $1,500 commitment fee. To defer your admission, you must submit a deferral request form prior to 2100 hours.
August 18Fall semester bursary and scholarship applications available online (see Financial Aid). 

FEE PAYMENT DEADLINE for Fall Semester 2023 . Students must pay all fees before 2100 hours or they will be dropped from all of their registered courses at 2100 hours on August 23, 2023.
August 23Students with an outstanding balance of $295 or more, students who do not meet prerequisite requirements or high school graduation requirements, or students placed on academic suspension will be dropped from all their registered courses. Check your account balance by logging into the  Student Information System.
August 24Fall Semester 2023 Registration Period 2 begins. See Registration Access Schedule

Tuition fees for courses added during this period are due immediately following registration. Courses added during this period will not be dropped for non-payment of fees. Students remain liable for any fees owing. Any outstanding balances on or after September 13, 2023 will be subject to compounding interest and late payment charges (see Fees Information). Non-refundable fees must be paid, even if you have dropped your courses. Check your account balance by logging into the Student Information System.
September 4College closed. Labour Day. 

Last day to drop regular semester and Sep–Oct half-semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 100% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees).
September 5First day of classes for regular semester and Sep–Oct half-semester courses.
