We are pleased to report that the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) have competed their sweep of all campus buildings, and campus is secure. However, classes on the W. 49th campus remain cancelled for tomorrow, as we work to secure College and personal property and prepare for the resumption of operations.

Classes occurring at the 601 West Broadway campus or at locations other than the W. 49th campus, such as offsite Nursing practica, will go ahead as scheduled.

Unless you have been specifically contacted by your leader to assist with recovery operations tomorrow, (primarily select staff in Facilities, Security, IT, RES, etc), employees are asked not to come to work tomorrow.

We recognize that employees and students may have left behind important personal belongings and that some faculty may need to collect exam materials; information on the process to recover them will be provided tomorrow morning. Employees and students who need to retrieve vehicles left in campus lots are asked to check-in at Campus Security before removing their vehicle.

The Daycare will not be open tomorrow, Tuesday April 2nd.
