Can I come to Campus?


Students enrolled in a face-to-face course or accessing one of our other available services will be required to complete the COVID-19 Health & Safety Awareness course before coming to campus for the first time. Please also read this important announcement on check-in procedures to access our buildings.

Student & Campus Services

Services that are open:

  • Labs, special-purpose classrooms, and computer labs:
    L Building Computer labs (L103 & L104), daily, 8:00 am–7:00 pm
    A Building Mac lab (A110), Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm–7:00 pm and weekends, 8:00 am–7:00 pm
  • Community Cupboard: The Community Cupboard provides one week’s worth of non-perishable food items per student per week. Students can access the Community Cupboard through The Hub (A140) Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (excluding holidays), between 11:00 am–2:00 pm until December 16, 2020.
  • Health Services: Open. The medical clinic at Langara College is available for booked appointments Monday–Friday. We will continue offering healthcare services to the Langara College community. Appointments with our doctors and/or nurses are primarily by telephone or Zoom. If you have any questions about COVID-19, or other general health concerns please call us between 8:30 am–12:00 pm and 1:00 pm–4:00 pm.   • Indigenous Gathering Space: The Indigenous Gathering Space is open for Indigenous students who don't have alternative access to resources Monday to Friday from 9:00 am–4:00 pm. Staff are available by phone at 604.323.5043 or email at
  • Bookstore: Online shopping and delivery service options available. The Bookstore is open Monday-Friday from 10:00 am–3:00 pm. Store hours and safety protocols
  • Makerspace: The Makerspace lab will not be open to in-person access by students, faculty and staff, but will be outputting all submitted user files and preparing the resulting items for pick-up on campus. Please read the file submission process here
  • Cycling facilities (secure bike cage): Open. Students may purchase an annual access card at the Bookstore for $5. Learn more
  • EV charging stations: Open on Level P1 of the Library underground parkade.

Services that have moved online (offices closed):

  • Accessibility Services: Available for intake and follow-up appointments by phone. If you are already registered with Accessibility Services, you can email your consultant directly. Email or call 604.323.5509 to schedule a phone appointment. We are no longer able to accept faxed or mailed documentation. Please email documentation to your Consultant or
  • Continuing Studies: Front counter is closed to in-person visits. The phone hours are Monday to Thursday 9:00 am–4:30 pm, and Friday 9:00 am–4:00 pm. Phones are not answered on Saturday or Sunday. Please call 604.323.5322 or email
  • Co-op and Career Development Centre: Closed. For assistance please email
  • Counselling: The Counselling office is unavailable for face-to-face service but students can connect with a Counsellor or Advising Assistant for support via telephone, email, or a secure online platform (Zoom). Please email or call 604.323.5221 and leave your name, student ID, and a brief summary of what you would like assistance with. We will get back to you as soon as possible.   • Facilities: Office is closed. Services have moved online. Please email
  • International Education: Office is closed. Students may contact their International Student Coordinator email or call 604.323.5023.
  • IT Service Desk: Closed. For assistance, please submit an IT Ticket. For urgent issues, please fill out the form at
  • Library: All study spaces are closed. Services are available online. Request books/DVDs using this online form. All fines on regular (non-reserve) items are suspended until further notice. To access online services, please see the Library website.
  • LSU: LSU Building is closed. Staff are available to answer inquiries online or by phone at 604.324.3881 Ext. 0. To get in touch with the LSU immigration consultant or ombudsperson, please fill out the respective forms under the LSU services page
  • Printshop: While the Printshop is closed, employees are working remotely. Email if you have questions.
