StrongerBC future skills grant

This program qualifies for the StrongerBC future skills grant, which provides up to $3,500 in funding to help B.C. residents gain in-demand skills for today’s workforce.

If you're 19 or older and a B.C. resident, you may be eligible to have part—or even all—of your program costs covered.

 

Cybersecurity is essential to protecting today's organizations from evolving digital threats. As businesses place greater emphasis on security, governance, and compliance, professionals with practical cybersecurity knowledge are in high demand across all industries.

This short certificate provides a flexible pathway to develop the skills needed to identify, assess, and communicate cybersecurity risks. Through stackable micro-credentials, you'll explore governance, risk management, compliance frameworks, internal controls, and incident response planning while learning how to support secure and resilient organizational operations.

Designed for working professionals and adult learners, the program helps you build practical, job-ready skills that can be applied in a variety of organizational settings.  

Upon successful completion of the required micro-credentials, you'll earn a Short Certificate in Cybersecurity and Risk Foundations that demonstrates your expertise and commitment to professional development.
