Department of Nutrition & Food Service ManagementAbout

The Nutrition and Food Service Management Department has different programs that are specific to each individual’s goals – career or personal. These include and associate degree, diplomas, and a diploma with advanced standing.

All faculty are experts in their field and are registered dietitians.

All programs accepts students for every term; however, prospective students must apply three months prior to the term they intend to start. Late applications are welcome, but space may be limited.

Our Programs

The Associate of Science Degree in Food and Nutrition prepares students to meet course requirements for application to the BSc (Food, Nutrition, and Health) program in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems at UBC. If eligible, the students can then apply to their Dietetics program. The courses may also meet the requirements of other dietetics programs across Canada.
