West 49th Avenue and Alberta Street infrastructure upgrades update: Construction work on August 24-28

• Due to construction work at the intersection between Manitoba and W 49th Ave. on August 24-28, traffic on both directions will shift to singles lanes. 
• Traffic is expected to shift back to double lanes during the week of August 31. Watch for signage. 
• Bus stops near the Manitoba intersection will be closed during the same period. We encourage Bus 49 commuters to use the stops at Alberta St and Columbia St:
  • Stop # 51968 - Eastbound W 49 Ave @ Alberta St
  • Stop # 62057 - Westbound W 49th Ave @ Columbia St
