“Before joining the Digital Media and Design program, I tried to learn design on my own through online courses, tutorials, and YouTube. While I gained some knowledge, I often felt lost because there was no clear learning path or mentorship to guide me. When I discovered Langara's Digital Media and Design program, it felt like exactly what I had been looking for. The program combines graphic design, coding, and UI/UX design, giving me a well-rounded foundation for my future career. I was also excited to be part of the very first cohort of students and help shape a brand new program. So far, it has provided the structure, support, and hands-on learning experience that I was missing while studying independently.”
