To help make the most of your first semester at Langara, we encourage all new students to join an orientation session for Regular Studies or Continuing Studies before the start of their term.

Attend the orientation session to learn about classroom expectations, first-semester tips, and where to find academic, social, physical, and mental health support. We’ll guide you through cultural and academic differences, immigration and health responsibilities, and the services available through Langara Global.

Continuing Studies International Student Orientation

Students beginning their studies at Langara are invited to attend the Continuing Studies International Student Orientation. In this session, students will learn more about Langara, Langara’s services, how to adjust to Vancouver and Canada, immigration-related matters (e.g. study permit, work eligibility), medical insurance plans, and much more. Note that event pre-registration is mandatory.
