Convocation 2026 will be held on June 9, 10, and 11, 2026, at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre located in downtown Vancouver, BC. The ceremony schedule will be posted when it becomes available.

Guest tickets

All guests, including children (regardless of the child’s age), must have a ticket for entrance. Graduates are responsible for reserving tickets for their guests, free of charge, to attend their convocation ceremony when the ticketing system is active. The number of guest tickets available per student will be determined based on venue capacity.

Your ticket(s) will be shared with you by the graduate once reserved.

Guest seating is unassigned. We cannot accommodate individual requests for seating assignments.

Arrival time

Doors will open for guests one hour before ceremony starts. Guests who arrive after the ceremony has commenced will be seated by theatre staff when there is an appropriate break (if space permits).

Parking

Please allow additional time for parking as spaces are limited downtown. We recommend public transit wherever possible.

Accessibility services for guests

The Queen Elizabeth Theatre can accommodate guests with special mobility needs. Accessible seating is located on the main floor. The main floor is wheelchair accessible, including washrooms. The ushers will be able to assist you in accessing seating to meet your needs.
Please feel free to reach us at convocation [at] langara.ca (convocation[at]langara[dot]ca) if you have any questions regarding accessibility.
