Jewellery: Professional Studio Techniques (@VSB)

This advanced jewellery making level covers everything from bench tricks, troubleshooting, refinement of soldering techniques, advanced bezels like prong settings and creative bezels, jewelry as a sculpture, and more. Students will be guided through their personal projects, receive hands-on advice, and will build confidence in their level of expertise. Students will have access to machinery like rolling mill, hydraulic press, anticlastic shaping tools and more. If the students wish to work with silver and precious gemstones, a list of suppliers will be given out during the first session. Prerequisite: Jewellery Techniques 2 or equivalent (intermediate soldering skills).
